ELEVATE project was successful held at the Sri Palee Campus

The second screening of the ELEVATE project was successfully held at the Sri Palee Campus, University of Colombo, in partnership with the Centre for Gender Equity/Equality, University Grants Commission Sri Lanka. This inspiring event showcased films by female filmmakers and included a panel discussion on Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights (SRHR) and Combating Gender-Based Violence (CGBV). The expert panel provided valuable insights, fostering a dynamic conversation on the themes highlighted in the films. There are Four Film Directors represented by Sri Palee undergraduates and 10 students participating as a volunteer, they will be part of a transformative initiative driving change and fostering inclusivity in the university. This was coordinated by Senior Lecturer Kalani Dharmasiri.
