The Department of Mass Media of Sri Palee Campus conducted a webinar series during the COVID 19 pandemic period. In this webinar series, discussions were conducted on various topics, which greatly benefited all university students, academics, journalists, and scholars in Sri Lanka in gaining knowledge from experts in particular fields. Many important discussions took place accordingly on different themes such as ‘Exploring Wisdom and the Production of knowledge associated with University System in the Post-COVID Era’ by Professor Sasanka Perera, Inaugural Professor of Sociology, South Asian University, New Delhi, ‘Awareness of Ragging Act & Human Rights Law’ by Dr. Prathiba Mahanamahewa, the Rector of Sri Palee Campus, ‘Netocratism: A New Form of Global Governance’ by Tudor Weerasinghe, a Senior Lecturer in the Mass Media Department, Sri Palee Campus and ‘Creative Communication in COVID-19 Context’ by Veteran Journalist, Mr. Saman Athaudahetti.
