Three-Day Training Workshop for Change Agents focused on social cohesion, reconciliation, and community action. The workshop was held from July 16th to 19th, 2024, at the Miani Technical Training Institute in Batticaloa.
This workshop aims to equip student leaders with the knowledge, skills, and tools necessary to become effective agents of change within their communities. Also, it demonstrates strong leadership potential, a commitment to social harmony, cohesion and justice, and a passion for making a difference in their communities.
This workshop organized by the collaboration between University Grants Commission (UGC) and USAID SCORE for the 90 change agents which were chosen by 18 National Universities / Campuses. 5 students participated representing Sri Palee Campus under the guidance and participation of Permanent Student Counselor, Campus Radio Coordinator, Senior Lecturer Kalani Irosha Dharmasiri.
