  • Obtained a Special Award : school for dancing in 2001
  • Awarded the Bronze Award at the International Awards for Young People, by His Royal Highness the Duke of Edinburgh, Chairman of the International Award Association.
  • Awarded the all Island first place award for “Salu Paliya” dance recital organized by the   Ministry of Education in 2000
  • Adjudged the all Island winner in Troupe – mask (16 – 18 years category) event at the competition conducted by the Institute of Music, Speech and Dance (Pvt). Ltd, which is an organization based in the United Kingdom and has Her Royal Highness the Queen of England as patron.

  • Paper presenter of 119th ROYAL ASIATIC SOCIETY conference in 2013
  • Performed in the RAVANA BALLET  choreographed by Pabalu Wijewardena at John De Silva Theatre in 2008
  • Performer of MAW GEETHAYA – An operatic drama choreographed by Harsha Ariyasinghe  at Maharagama Youth Centre in 2008
  • Performed at the Russian Cultural Centre for the Russian cultural day events choreographed by Manubandhu Vidyapathi in 2009
  • Performed in Sri Lanka’s 1st ever stage performance of the ‘PANCHANAREE GHATAYA’ choreographed by Ashoka Dissanayake, Senior Lecturer of the Visual and Performing Arts University, held at the Visual and Performing Arts University theatre in 2012
  • Organized and performed in “PASANGA RAVA” – A dance production choreographed by Chinthaka Bandara, Senior Lecturer, University of Colombo, Sri Palee Campus, at the Ananda College: Kularathne Hall in 2011
  • Performed in ‘Media and Diversity’ an International Symposium on Mass Media – Organized  by the Sri Palee Campus in 2010.

  • Played the role of main actress in several award winning short films:
  • The Bench 2009 – 01st place for State Award
  • The Beatle – 03rd place for State Award and Film Corporation Award
  • Eka Parshawika – Merit Award from the Film Corporation
  • Directed a short film (Dayabara Kandulalla) in 2008
  • Script Writer and one of the actresses/performers in the final production of “Andura Andi  Minissu” Organized by the Sri Palee Campus batch of 2004/2005.
