Training and Workshops for Staff Members

The Department of Languages organized, under the ELTA-ELSE Campus Development Project, Department of Languages a workshop series on Improvement of English Teaching and Learning and Assessment (TLA) Activities. The workshops aimed to improve language education by implementing blended learning practices and effective assessment techniques, integrating technology into language instruction. Dr. Namalee Suraweera, a Digital Teaching and Learning Technologist from the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Kelaniya, facilitated the workshops. Participants engaged in interactive discussions and practical exercises to enhance their understanding of blended learning and assessment practices. The Department extends its gratitude to Dr. Suraweera for her valuable contributions as the resource person.
