Introduction& Scope

Sri Palee Campus Finance division is functioning under the administration of Rector Sripalee Campus and all financial reporting directly forwarded to the Bursar of University of Colombo. Sripalee Campus Finance division headed by a Deputy Bursar. All recurrent and capital funds allocated by the University of Colombo according to the annual allocated budget to the campus and based on monthly cash forecast. Under the Finance division following sub divisions are performing.

Sri Palee Campus Finance branch cadre allocated with one Assistant Bursar, along with a staff consisting of 10 as follows.

1. 1. Book Keeper – 01
   2. Management Assistants (MA) – 05
   3. Management Assistants (Shroff) – 01
   4. Management Assistant-Store Keeping – 01
   5. Works Aids  – 02

The primary objective of the Finance division is to plan, organize, forecast, direct and control financial activities with limited funds and the proper utilization of funds efficiently and effectively to meet the goals and objectives in line with the strategic plan and Action plan of the Sripalee Campus and University of Colombo. Sripalee Campus Finance division cater for internally more than 700 students’ population and 150 Academic and Non Academic staff members.
