Annual Research Symposium 2022

Research Symposium (ARS 2022) was successfully held at the Sri Palee Campus, University of Colombo on 18th of November 2022 at the Audio Visual Unit under the theme “Creative and Innovative approaches in Media and Performing Arts. The ci-MAP 2022 encouraged academics and post graduate students of Sri Palee Campus to meet and exchange ideas and research findings on creative and full range of interests.

The chief guest of the Symposium was the vice chancellor of the University of Colombo Senior Professor H.D Karunarathna and Guest of Honor was the Rector of Sri Palee Campus Dr. Prathibha Mahanamahewa. Professor Xu Lifang at the Department of publishing Science, School of Information Management, Wuhan University, peoples Republic of china being the keynote speaker enlighten the symposium elaborating on the topic , Non – Fungible Rights (NFR) in China: Dynamics and Trends. The plenary speech done by the professor S. Raguram, Head, Department of Mass Media Studies, Faculty of Arts, University of Jaffna sharing his expertise knowledge among the audience.

The Symposium was held under the chairmanship of Ms. Ruvini Batuwangala, Senior Lecturer, Department of Performing Arts and it was on hybrid mood with the active participation of all the academics of Sri Palee Campus.
