Skill Up – 2022

The first and second phases of the seminar series “Skill up – 2022” organized by Campus Radio of the University of Colombo, Sri Palee campus for the students who are facing communication and media studies papers on the forthcoming advanced level examination were held recently. The initial phase of this project successfully came to an end on October 17, 2022, at St. Peter’s College, Colombo 04, Negombo branch with the presence of 120 + students representing many schools in the Negombo Education Zone. The second phase of Skill up – 2022 has come to an end on 31st October 2022, at Badulla Central college with the participation of 220+ students representing different schools in the Badulla Educational Zone. The main purpose behind this mammoth task was to encourage the students to appear for the A/Level examination in the coming year and give them the necessary strength and guidance to make their university dreams come real. Campus Radio of Sri Palee campus, the University of Colombo in collaboration with The second-year brotherhood of the department of mass media took lead in organizing and coordinating this event with their hard work while unleashing their huge potential for the success of this seminar series.
