What is learning?

Learning is about how we perceive and understand the world in a micro and macro sense. Accordingly, learning is a broad concept and it does not depend on a single thing; it may ever involve in mastering principles, understanding, remembering factual information, acquiring methods, techniques and approaches, recognition, reasoning, debating ideas, or developing behavior that is appropriate to specific situations.

Framework for Teaching and Supporting Learning in the course of MA in Media Research.

 Effective Methods of Teaching: 

The teaching methods comprise the techniques and principles used for instruction to be implemented by teachers to achieve the desired learning by students. The instructors of the MA in Media Research of Sri Palee Campus will provide the facilities to the candidates with effective methods and principles of teaching.  The teaching-learning process is very interactive and not a one-way approach. Accordingly, the candidates of these classes are benefited by the modes of teaching and learning mentioned below. Furthermore, we are facilitating to promote self-learning and help students to develop critical awareness of current issues and recent developments in the area of specialization and/or area of professional practice. These contemporary teaching styles tend to be group focused and inquiry driven.

These learning teaching strategies will enhance positive mindset patterns which, in turn, improve their emotional and motivational support or even cognitive functions for numerical problem solving, information literacy with the capability of organizing and processing data. Moreover, they will help them to engage in independent learning using scholarly reviews and secondary source of information and continuous professional development. These interdependent techniques and methods will also benefit them to work in teams, give leadership, and promote social and professional engagement.  All those will help them to have a clear vision for life and develop long term goals accordingly. Accordingly this program of MA in Media research will help the candidates to establish logical agreements of goals and objectives in their life process too.
