Mission of the Department
- Producing and promoting transformative knowledge in the field of Performing Arts and in an array of social studies to nurture human values, enhance aesthetic capacities and to enrich the cultural life of Sri Lankan society.
- Generating, transmitting, and applying transformative knowledge and skills responding to the challenges pertaining to national and global transition processes.
- Developing generic skills among graduates empowering them to meet the challenges of employability in the current local and global job market.
